Qingbo Zhu
I received my Ph.D. in Department of Computer Science at University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign on August 2007. I was a group member of Opera. My thesis advisor is Prof. Yuanyuan Zhou.
My research interests lie in system research, including operating systems, file and storage systems, database systems, intelligent power management, and use data mining techniques to improve system reliability and manageability.
I co-founded PatternInsight Inc. (previously known as CleanMake Inc) on June 2006 that provides scalable solutions to intelligently search, discover and analyze valuable patterns in large amount of system data (e.g. source code and system logs). On Janary 2008, the company closed Series A investment and moved to silicon valley, California.
